jQuery Air: First Flight Free!
To date we’ve had 44,265 people try Rails for Zombies and of that amount 10,605 who took the time to complete the whole thing (and that’s no small feat). At Envy Labs, we have a history of producing free educational content, from the Scaling Rails Screencasts, to the Rails 3 Screencasts, to Rails for Zombies, and most recently the overhaul of Try Ruby. We may not put out as much open source content as other companies, but I like to think we make up for it in free educational content.
Today marks another one of those milestones, with the free release of jQuery Air: First Flight produced with JumpStart Lab. This course contains 5 screencasts taught by Jeff Casimir each followed by a bunch in-browser code challenges. We’re hoping that this tutorial will help blossoming developers from all over the world learn the basics of jQuery. Here’s the intro video if you haven’t seen it before:
If you dig this sort of content, do us a favor and help us spread the word by heading over to the jQueryAir website and tweeting and/or liking it! If you’ve already played jQuery Air, you be happy to know that our next jQuery Course, jQuery Air: Captain’s Log is now available for purchase. It’d be a great primer for our CoffeeScript course coming out next month.
